Irie Radio Ocean 98.1 FM (WOCM)

Irie Radio Ocean 98.1 FM, call sign WOCM, is an independent rock radio station serving Ocean City, Maryland and the surrounding beach towns. It is licensed to Selbyville, Delaware, and broadcasts from studios at Seacrets on the bay in Ocean City.

The station first signed on in 1965 as WSBL at 97.9 FM with a country format. Today it is owned by Irie Radio, founded by Seacrets owner Leighton Moore, and plays a rock and adult album alternative mix. It was one of the first independent stations in the country to stream a live video feed of its broadcast over the internet, and it still streams live from Seacrets. The morning show is hosted by David “Bulldog” Rothner, who also manages the station.

Irie Ocean FM 98.1 was one of the sponsors of the 2026 E-Volution Expo at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City.
