International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA)

The International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA) is a trade association for the yacht brokerage and charter industry, based at The Harbor Shops on Cordova Road in Fort Lauderdale. It was founded in 1987 as the Florida Yacht Brokers Association and now reports more than 2,000 members.

IYBA provides its members with professional development seminars, legal advocacy and networking events, and it operates the Yacht Broker MLS, a multiple listing service for vessel sales. The association is run by a board of working brokers, with Grant Henderson as president, and a staff led by Executive Director Andrew Parkinson.

Ahead of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, IYBA hosts its Charter Seminar & Open House. The 2026 edition is on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 801 Seabreeze Blvd (Bahia Mar), and the association typically adds networking events during show week.
