Town of Ocean City
The Town of Ocean City is the municipal government of Ocean City, Maryland, the Atlantic beach resort on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. City Hall is on North Baltimore Avenue at 3rd Street.
The Town runs the resort’s public services, including police, fire and the Ocean City Beach Patrol, public works, recreation and parks, and planning and community development. Its Tourism Department markets the destination as Ocean City, Maryland and operates the Roland E. Powell Convention Center and the Ocean City Performing Arts Center. The Town marked its 150th anniversary with a year of commemorative events, closing out the celebration heading into 2026.
The Town of Ocean City was a sponsor of E-Volution Expo 2026 and promoted the three-day innovation weekend, which began with Ocean City’s first TEDx event, TEDx Butterfish Cove, in the Performing Arts Center. The Town billed the Saturday night Tesla light show in the convention center parking lot as more than 150 synchronized vehicles.
