Ocean City Organics
Ocean City Organics is a locally owned organic grocery store on Ocean Gateway (Route 50) in West Ocean City, Maryland. It has been a fixture on the Shore since 1989 and has been owned since 2021 by sisters Heather Layton and Kristie “Kiki” Williams, a licensed nutritionist.
The store carries organic fresh produce, local A2 dairy, local pasture-raised eggs, organic pork and beef, wild caught salmon, wild and local honey, bulk herbs and teas, supplements, organic pantry staples, and a green living section of sustainable household products. The owners also added Low Tide Lunch Box, an on-site cafe serving fresh juices, smoothies, toasts and grab-and-go meals. The shop has been a multi-year winner in Coastal Style’s Best Of readers’ poll for Worcester County.
At the 2026 E-Volution Expo in Ocean City, Ocean City Organics had a booth of organic groceries and supplements in the local makers and food section of the floor.
