Design Miami
Design Miami is a fair and platform for collectible design: furniture, lighting and objects that sit between art and function. Its flagship edition is held on Miami Beach every December during Miami Art Week, near the Miami Beach Convention Center where Art Basel takes place.
Design Miami was founded in 2005 by Miami developer and collector Craig Robins. It now runs an annual edition in Paris each October as well as Miami Beach, along with smaller presentations in cities including Basel, Los Angeles and Seoul, and calls itself “the global forum for collectible design.” Jennifer Roberts is CEO, and the company has been owned by Basic.Space since October 2023.
The 2026 Miami Beach edition, the fair’s 22nd, runs December 1 to 6. Its theme is Unveiling, led by curatorial director Charlene Prempeh, with more than 75 exhibitors. Art Basel sells a combination ticket that covers one day at Art Basel and one public day at Design Miami.
