Why this one is worth the calendar hold
Triton Expo is built around the working side of South Florida yachting. It puts captains and crew in the same waterfront setting as the vendors, service teams, technical specialists, and shoreside businesses they rely on.
That matters in Fort Lauderdale, where relationships often move faster than a cold email. In one evening, attendees can reconnect with familiar operators, meet new suppliers, compare what is available locally, and put faces to companies they may need later in the season.
This is also an established Triton event series—not a one-off mixer. The Triton’s 2026 media kit says the company holds monthly networking events and stages the larger Triton Expo twice each year. Its official archive includes 33 event photo galleries, and the April 2026 Expo at Pier Sixty-Six generated a 285-photo gallery.
The Fall edition moves the action to Bahia Mar. The Triton’s history of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show says Bahia Mar was the show’s sole venue when it began in 1959 and remains its hub. Today, Bahia Mar’s official site lists more than 250 wet slips and room for vessels up to 300 feet—so this is a working yacht center, not simply an event backdrop.
What to expect at Bahia Mar
More than 50 maritime brands
The organizer says more than 50 brands and industry partners will be represented. A complete public exhibitor roster was not posted when we checked, so Citywide.TV is not guessing at the lineup. Expect a broad marine-business crowd and follow The Triton’s channels for any last-minute exhibitor announcements.
The Yachtie Games
Guests can sign up to compete—or cheer on their fellow crew—in the Yachtie Games. Prizes are part of the draw, but the detailed rules and entry process had not been published on the public listing. If competing is a priority, arrive early and ask the event team at check-in.
Food, cocktails, music, and prizes
The night is designed as much for connection as promotion: food, refreshing cocktails, live entertainment, a DJ, giveaways, and door prizes are all on the official program. The organizer asks everyone to drink responsibly and strongly encourages rideshare transportation.

How to work the Expo without wasting the night
- RSVP before you go. Registration was free and listed as available when this guide was prepared, but a saved Eventbrite confirmation is the smart move.
- Arrive with two or three real objectives. Pick the people you want to meet, the service category you need to understand, or the connection you want to make before the music gets loud.
- Keep your introduction short. Name, role, vessel or company, and why the conversation could matter. Then listen.
- Respect the exhibitor rules. Flyers, promotional materials, and giveaways are limited to official exhibitors and sponsors. This is not the place for unauthorized table drops.
- Follow up the next morning. A specific note about the conversation beats a generic “great meeting you” message.
Getting there and getting home
Bahia Mar Yachting Center sits at 801 Seabreeze Boulevard, across from Fort Lauderdale Beach. The Eventbrite listing says parking will be available in the Bahia Mar lot for $15, with street parking nearby. Capacity is not guaranteed.
With cocktails on the program, the organizer explicitly recommends Uber, Lyft, or another rideshare option. Plan the return trip before arriving.
One important media note
Photography and video will take place during the event. The registration terms state that attendees consent to the promotional use of their likeness. Anyone who has a concern should review the current Eventbrite terms before registering and speak with the event team on site.
