How we shoot the show.
What we’re after
- Booth and on-board interviews: who they are, what they brought, why it matters
- Boat debuts and press events from the official calendar
- B-roll: docks at golden hour, crowds, hero yachts, Superyacht Village
- FLIBS-week parties and crew events (see our party guide)
- Shoot verticals (9:16) for Reels/TikTok whenever you can, plus horizontal for YouTube
A few dock notes
- Ask before stepping aboard, and shoes come off on deck unless the crew says otherwise.
- Get an on-camera OK from everyone you interview, plus their name, title and handle.
- Keep gangways and walkways clear, and give brokers room mid-showing.
- Your media pass covers general admission areas, not VIP or private events, and it’s non-transferable.
- Charge everything nightly, carry spare cards, and back up before bed.
