Blue Whale EV
Blue Whale EV is an electric vehicle charging company headquartered in Hanover, Maryland, with regional offices in Frankford, Delaware and Sandston, Virginia. It describes itself as an advisory and service organization to the EV charging community, and provides turnkey charging for businesses and communities across North America.
The company handles the full life of a charging project: planning, installation, maintenance and managed charging services for commercial properties, fleets and public-sector clients. Its corporate headquarters opened at 980 Mercantile Drive in Hanover in March 2024, in a facility shared with Critical Peake Electrical Services.
In January 2026 Blue Whale EV announced it had been named a certified reseller of Lincoln Electric Velion EV charging solutions, covering Lincoln Electric’s 50kW mobile DC fast charger and its permanent 150kW DC fast charger. Both are Build America, Buy America compliant, and the mobile unit supports CCS1 and NACS connectors. At the 2026 E-Volution Expo in Ocean City, Blue Whale EV was a sponsor and showed a Velion mobile DC fast charger on the convention floor.
