LifeMed Institute is a medical spa and wellness practice with locations in Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania, and an Ocean City, Maryland location listed as coming soon on Ocean Gateway. Its original clinic is in Lutherville-Timonium, and it also operates in Columbia, Bel Air, Rehoboth Beach and West Chester.
The practice was founded by Dr. Randolph Whipps, a cardiologist who started it after decades of treating patients for preventable heart attacks and strokes, and it grew from cardiac prevention into a broader restorative medicine practice. Services today include IV nutrient infusion therapy, hormone and testosterone therapy, diagnostic and biomarker testing, peptide therapy, regenerative medicine, weight loss programs, and medical aesthetics such as Botox, fillers, microneedling and laser hair removal.
LifeMed Institute was the title sponsor of the 2026 E-Volution Expo in Ocean City. Its booth was one of the busiest on the floor, running free InBody body-composition scans and walking visitors through its IV infusion menu.
