Derecktor

Derecktor is a shipbuilder and superyacht repair and refit yard founded in 1947, headquartered in Mamaroneck, New York. Its South Florida yard is on Taylor Lane in Dania Beach, just south of Fort Lauderdale and Port Everglades.

The Dania Beach facility, which Derecktor calls the East Coast’s finest superyacht facility, handles yacht repair and refit, new construction, marina and dockage services, and on-site storage for crews and owners. Derecktor also runs a yard in Fort Pierce, Florida, home to what the company describes as the largest mobile boat hoist in the United States at 1,500 tons, and a yard in Robinhood, Maine.

The Dania Beach yard has a long habit of hosting during Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show week, and its announcements usually appear on its Instagram.
