Denison Yachting

Denison Yachting is a yacht brokerage and yachting services firm headquartered at 1550 SE 17th Street in Fort Lauderdale. After merging with OneWater Yacht Group in 2025, it reported 23 offices across the United States and Europe, about 180 brokers and more than 800 active listings, and it describes itself as the world’s largest yachting firm.

The firm’s main business is buying and selling new and pre-owned yachts, across the size range up to superyachts. It represents new-yacht builders including Majesty, Numarine, Ocean King, JFA and Gunboat, and after the merger added Absolute, HCB, Riviera, Prestige and Belize, as well as becoming the largest Sunseeker dealer in the world. Beyond sales, Denison offers superyacht charter, charter and private yacht management, crew placement, new-construction representation for owners building a yacht, and help arranging financing and insurance.

Its clients are private owners and buyers across the size range, charter guests and owners who want an outside team to run a yacht. Offices outside Florida include Newport, Rhode Island; Seattle; Long Beach and Newport Beach, California; and Monaco.

The Denison name has deep roots in Fort Lauderdale. In 1948 Frank and Gertrude Denison bought Dooley’s Dry Dock in Fort Lauderdale, which grew into Broward Marine, a yacht builder and U.S. Navy contractor that Florida Trend says became the county’s largest employer. The family later moved into yacht brokerage as Denison Yachting, led for years by Frank’s grandson Bob Denison as president.

Ownership has changed in recent years and is set to change again. OneWater Marine, the Georgia-based boat retailer, bought Denison in April 2022, ending more than 70 years of family ownership. After the 2025 merger with OneWater Yacht Group, 2026 trade coverage identifies Bryan Braley as Denison’s president. On September 9, 2026, OneWater announced an agreement for Gulf-based OceanWorld Group to acquire a majority stake in Denison, with OneWater remaining invested; the deal is expected to close by the end of 2026.
