Fort Lauderdale Mariners Club
The Fort Lauderdale Mariners Club is a maritime networking club in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, built around the marine insurance community. It offers members social events, professional development and industry education, and reports more than 750 members and seminar attendees.
The club’s flagship event is its Annual Marine Insurance Seminar, which draws 500-plus attendees each year and is held around the end of October, alongside Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show week. The club leadership rotates annually, with the top officer known as the Skipper.
Paired with the seminar is the club’s annual golf tournament, which raises money for charity. The 2025 tournament was played on Oct. 27 at The Club at Emerald Hills in Hollywood, Florida, benefiting Seafarers House at Port Everglades, a multi-faith nonprofit that serves visiting mariners.
