Luxx Optica

Luxx Optica is a family-owned optics atelier based in Palm Beach, Florida. It restores original World War II “Big Eye” binoculars and builds new fine optical instruments in the same style.

The company’s pieces are large stand-mounted naval binoculars, meant to work as both a real optical instrument and a piece of functional art for a home, office or yacht. Its current range includes models named Asahi (15x80mm), Midway (15x100mm) and Yamato (20x120mm), alongside one-off restored originals such as WWII-era Nikko and Flak big-eye binoculars.

Luxx Optica runs a trade shows program and exhibits at boat shows. Citywide.TV’s cameras have filmed the restored brass binoculars on the Luxx Optica stand at past Fort Lauderdale International Boat Shows.
