Yacht Management South Florida
Yacht Management South Florida is a family-owned boatyard, marina and yacht management company based at 3001 W State Road 84 in Fort Lauderdale. Founded in 2005, the business describes itself as a boutique, full-service operation that combines hands-on yard work with the administrative side of running a private yacht, and it now marks two decades of serving the local yachting community.
The company is organized into three divisions. The boatyard handles haul-outs and the jobs that come with them: bottom painting, Propspeed applications, running gear and valve work, fiberglass repairs, touch-ups and full paint jobs. A dockside care team covers washdowns, bottom cleaning, system checks and routine maintenance, sold as customizable monthly packages for owners who want a boat kept ready without managing the details themselves.
The third division, superyacht management, takes on the office work that larger yachts generate. That includes crew administration and crewing services, financial administration, accounting and reporting, operations management and regulatory compliance. The company also offers new-build project management for owners commissioning a yacht, and lists private aviation services alongside its marine work.
The client base runs from owners of sportfishing and cruising boats in the mid-50-foot range up to superyacht owners; the company’s own materials cite vessels from 56 feet to a 183-foot Delta Marine superyacht. That spread makes it one of the Fort Lauderdale yards that can serve both an owner-operator looking for a bottom job and a captain who needs an outside team to handle payroll, compliance and yard periods for a large yacht.
The company emphasizes communication and personal attention as selling points, rather than scale, and remains family owned and operated, a point it highlights across its marketing. Owners and captains can reach the service team by phone or through the company’s website, where maintenance and management inquiries are handled directly.
