Bluewater Yachting

Bluewater is an international yachting company with offices in Fort Lauderdale, Antibes and Palma de Mallorca. Its Fort Lauderdale base on West Sunrise Boulevard is home to its U.S. crew training school.

The company brings several services under one roof: luxury yacht charter, yacht sales and purchase brokerage, yacht management, crew recruitment and placement, and professional crew training courses. Bluewater describes itself as able to buy, sell, charter and manage yachts with crew it has personally trained and recruited, and its instructors teach maritime certification courses across its offices.

That crew focus shows up at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Bluewater runs the Oasis Lounge, a free crew lounge with snacks and refreshments at the Superyacht Village and the Swimming Hall of Fame, open 11am to 5pm through show week. There is no signup: any superyacht captain or crew member can walk in.
