Bradford Marine
Bradford Marine is a full-service superyacht repair yard and marina on State Road 84 in Fort Lauderdale, on the New River, with a second yard in Freeport, Grand Bahama, and Sunrise Harbor Marina in Fort Lauderdale.
Founded in 1966, the company has been owned since 2019 by father and son John and Michael Kelly. In 2020 it bought Billfish Marina, now Bradford East, and in October 2023 it acquired the neighbouring Roscioli Yachting Center from OneWater Marine, combining the two yards into one of the largest in-water dockage footprints in South Florida, with more than 19,000 linear feet of dockage. Megayacht News reports the Fort Lauderdale operation covers about 38 acres with roughly 240 team members and can now haul vessels up to 164 feet.
Bradford Marine is known on the waterfront for its crew facilities: an outdoor crew lounge with a stage, bar and grill and firepit, and a shuttle boat, the 84 Express, that runs staff between its properties. That lounge is where it holds its Captain & Crew Party, which runs more than once a year with one landing in boat show season: food truck, beer and wine, yard games and an easy room to talk in.
