Makers Woodshop

Makers Woodshop is a custom hardwood furniture maker in the Baltimore area, with a woodshop and sawmill in Windsor Mill, Maryland and a showroom in Catonsville. It builds furniture from locally sawn Maryland timber.

The shop makes dining and community tables, kitchen islands, bar tops, desks, coffee tables and mantels, many of them live-edge slabs and epoxy resin pieces. It sources wood through a local family mill from trees that fell or were removed for safety, and says none of its wood comes from trees cut down for their lumber. Beyond furniture, Makers Woodshop sells slabs and dimensional lumber and offers custom milling and kiln drying. It was founded by Jason Dawson.

At the 2026 E-Volution Expo in Ocean City, Makers Woodshop showed live-edge slab tables and glowing resin river pieces in the local makers section of the floor.
