United Yacht Sales is a yacht brokerage headquartered at 110 SW Atlanta Avenue in Stuart, on Florida’s Treasure Coast. The firm was founded in 2002 by Peter Schmidt, a marine industry veteran of more than 40 years, and its company history page lists Clint Boutwell as CEO and owner.
The company represents buyers and sellers of pre-owned yachts and also works in new-boat representation and yacht finance. It says it has more than 160 professional yacht brokers working from 20 offices worldwide, supported by a shared broker platform for marketing and closing.
On September 18, 2026, United named Kevin Zimmermann its president. Zimmermann has more than 20 years in the marine trade, covering service, parts, engine sales, finance, brokerage and new construction, and previously served as vice president of sales at Denison Yachting and a vice president at OneWater Yacht Group. United says his early focus is supporting its existing brokers, recruiting new ones and expanding brokerage, new-boat representation and finance. In March 2024 the AI-focused brokerage Cloud Yachts joined United, bringing 13 South Florida brokers and more than 30 listings.
