General Boat Services
General Boat Services is a yacht care company in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It looks after private yachts and boats for owners and captains around South Florida.
The company’s work covers the full routine of keeping a boat presentable and running: washing, detailing, polishing and waxing, alongside yacht maintenance, repairs and management. It also offers crew placement, special events support and boat show preparation, and advertises 24/7 support.
On its website the company says it brings more than 20 years of experience and has serviced more than 500 vessels.
Boat show prep is where many people see the team at work. At past Fort Lauderdale International Boat Shows, Citywide.TV’s cameras caught the General Boat Services crew hand-detailing a yacht before the gates opened, the kind of job that happens on every dock in the hours before the public arrives.
