Bahia Mar Yachting Center
Bahia Mar Yachting Center is a large marina on the barrier island between the Intracoastal Waterway and Fort Lauderdale Beach, at 801 Seabreeze Boulevard. Operated by Suntex, it bills itself as the home of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and offers more than 250 slips for vessels up to 300 feet.
The dockage is built around a 3,000-foot parallel dock and more than 5,000 feet of floating docks. Shore power runs from 30 and 50 amp up to 100 to 200 amp service in single and three-phase, and the marina offers high-speed gasoline and diesel fueling and in-slip pump-out. Facilities for boaters include Wi-Fi, air-conditioned restrooms and laundry, a heated pool, fitness center, covered parking, round-the-clock security and captain and crew quarters.
The marina sits across the road from the beach and shares the property with a DoubleTree by Hilton hotel, restaurants, shops and tennis courts. That combination of hotel, dining and beach access next to the docks gives owners, guests and crews a base within walking distance of the ocean. Bahia Mar is a member of the U.S. Superyacht Association and the International Superyacht Society.
Its best-known role comes once a year. The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which calls itself the largest in-water boat show in the world and draws more than 100,000 visitors, uses Bahia Mar as its main hub. The show is spread across six waterfront venues, including Las Olas Marina, Pier Sixty-Six and the Broward County Convention Center, but lists Bahia Mar’s Seabreeze Boulevard address as its headline location. The 2026 show runs from October 28 to November 1, when the marina’s docks fill with yachts on display and regular berthing is reorganized around the event. Read the Citywide.TV FLIBS 2026 guide.
Outside show week, slips can be booked through the marina’s website or by phone. The property is also a business address for the brokerage trade; HMY Yachts, for example, lists Bahia Mar as its flagship office.
