Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches

The Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches is a private, not-for-profit business association based in downtown West Palm Beach. It describes itself as “the leading voice for business in Palm Beach County.” Its stated purpose is to connect, champion and help businesses succeed through leadership, partnerships and programs.

Founded in 1913, it is one of the oldest business organizations in Palm Beach County. Its members range from small businesses and nonprofits to large employers, schools and cultural institutions. Membership includes networking events, business directory listings, advocacy on local issues, and member-experience staff who help businesses use the chamber’s programs.

Its signature recurring event is the annual Business Awards, which honors Palm Beach County businesses and businesspeople. Categories include Business of the Year, Small Businessperson of the Year, Young Professional of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, Health and Human Services Organization of the Year, and Hospitality and Tourism Organization of the Year, along with a Lifetime Achievement Award. The 2025 ceremony was held at the Kravis Center in May 2025. The chamber also holds an annual Chairman’s Circle Reception; the November 2025 edition was held at the National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach.

Michael Zeff is President & CEO. He has led the chamber since late 2024 and held public “Coffee & Chat” sessions with members in early 2025. For 2025–26, the board is chaired by James Johnson, shareholder and director of investment operations at Blue Ocean Capital. The chamber introduced its 2025–26 leadership in November 2025.

Not to be confused with the separate Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce, which serves the Town of Palm Beach.
