Berger Commercial Realty Corp. is an independent commercial real estate brokerage and property management firm based in Fort Lauderdale. It describes itself as one of the largest independently owned and operated firms of its kind in South Florida, serving Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties.
Its services are commercial brokerage, landlord representation, tenant representation, property management and court-appointed receiverships. The firm works on office, retail and especially industrial property. It also publishes quarterly market reports for Broward and Palm Beach counties, including second-quarter 2026 editions.
Its clients include property owners, investors, lenders and tenants, from small businesses leasing space to institutional owners of multi-building portfolios.
Lloyd C. Berger, SIOR, founded the firm in 1998 and is its president. He has been a court-appointed receiver for more than 150 distressed properties across Florida and sits on the board of CORFAC International, a network of independent commercial real estate firms that includes Berger. Nova Southeastern University inducted him into its Entrepreneur and Business Hall of Fame in 2025. The firm’s senior team includes Palm Beach managing director Michael Feuerman and senior vice presidents Keith R. Graves, Steve Hyatt, St. George Guardabassi, Joseph P. Byrnes, Jonathan Thiel and Jordan Beck.
Berger’s Fort Lauderdale office is in the 550 Building on South Andrews Avenue, a Class A office tower for which the firm won the leasing and management assignment in 2016. Its Palm Beach County office is at 2240 Woolbright Road in Boynton Beach. In March 2026 the firm was named exclusive leasing agent for the Constellation Airport Logistics Center. The Class A industrial project at 4491 Anglers Avenue near Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport has two buildings totaling about 169,000 square feet, with delivery planned for early 2027. The firm also reports being ranked among South Florida’s largest commercial property management firms for 2026.
